Who are we?

SAMABIKAS Nepal is a women-led right-based organization established by gender and rights activists to assist the marginalized and excluded sections of society, who have been victims of the cultural and socio-economic bias and widespread caste and gender discrimination, in bringing tangible changes in their lives. This is a non-partisan, non-discriminatory, and non-religious organization advocating for the establishment of a just and equitable society.

The organization is registered by the District Administration Office, Achham on 15 August 2004 with registration number 174. There are altogether 61 members in the General Assembly of the organization. The Executive Committee (EC) is elected every three years through democratic election procedures. There 9 executive members on the executive committee, 6 full time working staff and 5 volunteers.
